Rear Seats YJ vs. TJ

I have a question for Jeep guys.
How wide is YJ and TJ rear seats? What is the difference between them?

I'm going to use it as a 3rd row seat in my 4Runner, but want to get the best fit I can in terms of spacing between wheel arches.
I found that BestTop makes a good rear seat for Wrangler - Trailmax II, but which one to get is an open question for me.

If someone has BestTop or just willing to help by measuring the width of his seat, I would appreciate your help.
If you have BestTop Trailmax II, could you also post an image of it.

Thank you in advance.

I just added a Suzuki Samurai seat for the rear of my WJ. It uses a thinner cushion and lower mounting brackets than the Jeep seats so it fit in the back easier. Still have the fold and tumble feature. Worked out great.

The wheelwells in a TJ are more rounded so there is more room for a wider seat. I don't have my YJ any more, but I know the rear area is about 35 inches wide. The seat just fits.

My TJ seat back is 38 inches wide across the top, the bottom is 39 inches wide across the top of the cushion and the bottom of the frame is 35 inches.

This is gopod info. So TJ is 38" wide on the back at shoulder level and 39" wide on the coushion.

My 4th Gen has more square fender arches while my 3rd Gen has more round one. I'll measure the width of both of my Runners to see the fitment.

Yes. 38" at shoulder level. 39" at the top of the seat cushion where the back of your knee would rest. The seat cushion and the seat back both taper to 35" at floor level.
