Rear Shackle install on Xterra

I got the rear shackles to do the Poor mans lift (for now). Can anyone point me in the direction of some instructions on the install. I know its not that involved and I know I have to do the torsion bar crank for the front with the directions on Nissan Offroad.

Not sure where you bought your shackles, but I imagine the procedure is the same for any of them. Here are the instructions from AC: http://www.4x4parts.com/FAQ/xterrafrontiershackleinstallationinstructions.pdf

The hardest part, I think, it getting the rear axle lifted the right amount to take pressure off the spring pack. Good luck!

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE TENSION OFF THE REAR LEAVES!!!! First time I tried it with a friend it popped pretty bad. You'll need a floor jack and some jackstands. By all means take your time.

I've never done one with SLR, but have done Revolvers, AC, and Calmini. They're all pretty much the same.

Got it lifted.

Will look better with larger tires filling the wheel wells more. Will also give it that little bit more height.
