I too had air shocks for when I loaded down and or pulled the off road trailer. Never an issue as i could adjust as needed. As mentioned not real expensive either... in fact I kept mine just in case I buy another XJ that could use them.

:sombrero:--NO--the springs are even different between Rubi's and different between Sports-

The springs are different between 4drs and 2drs/w the 4drs being stiffer and longer, but

There doesn't seem to be any system for the spring stiff/strength selection in the factory assembly line and it doesn't matter whether you choose "Tow-Package" or not-

The strongest/longest/stiffest springs pt# end in 19 front and 60 rear, for the 4dr jeep--model doesn't matter-

DON'T JUST BUY RUBI SPRINGS FOR AN IMMEDIATE LIFT ON YOUR 2DR--you've gotta check the last 2 numbers on the springs--FIRST

I speak truth-

Jimmy is right, and I have these awesome springs waiting for a new home, you can see them here http://www.expeditionportal.com/for...-front-and-rear-heavy-duty-JK-factory-springs

When i first bought the jeep i had no intention of lifting but after couple heavily loaded trips i gave in and did a coil lift. I also used Teraflex rear 2.5" Speedbumps to cushion the bumps for when i do bottom out.
So far the set up has been doing well.
