Eve all,
I'm on the look out for a 'economic' (read cheap) photo printer to take on our upcoming overland trip from the UK - Siberia. I want a printer so I can hand people in remote areas photographs of themselves, their family, friends etc which they otherwise would probably never own. They are probably all mains supplied (UK plug) which isn't a problem as we can use our inverter. I know these printers will seem like a gimick to most, but I do believe they have their place for overlanders :ylsmoke:
print times, fancy LCD screens, on-board editing I don't really care for.
I want something small, solid, cheap on ink and can print 6x4 or multiples of smaller ones. SD or a USB connection a must.
I looked at Canon models and these seemed rather good. I will probably buy one 2nd hand off Ebay when I have found a model/models to narrow it down.
so does anyone have one? anyone used one? makes to avoid?
cheers all.
