Anyone know where you can buy the recovery point that is on the front of Mr. Jackson's D110? (picture from www.africaoverland.org)

Yes, the 360 swivel is the unit I'm reffering to. WOW $125 is pretty steep. Pretty cool, but pricey.

Don't trust me on the price... I could very well be wrong. Pop them an e-mail to confirm.

Your memory services you well. I found them on Safari Guard's website. They are indeed $125.

I was just looking at their site and couldn't find them. Where did you see them?

Actek Mfg & Eng., Inc.
17181 Gale Avenue, Unit C
City of Industry, CA 91745
Ph: 800-752-7229

Part No. 46018-C rated payload 5,000lbs.

HTH!

Looks like a pretty common center pull hoist ring. If this link works, try this:

Most vehicle recovery points I have seen are rated in the 5-6k range. The 5k ones there are priced between $90-$100. Add in the required backing plate/support, profit and the major business risk of liability and $125 sounds like a bargain!

Without researching it, I would surmise that that are selling only the ring and leaving the backing and support to you.
