Review: Auxbeam 8-switch accessory power panel

Seems like a cheap Switch Pros knockoff

I agree. Good review of what it is and isnt. Im generally a fan of the cheaper solution, but if this was available at the time I think I still would have ponied up for the Switch Pro. If I ever need a panel like the switch pro but not need a Switch Pro this would be a good option I think for the back of a vehicle or a camping trailer.

They did not give a date. They said they would send me an updated version when the dimming issue is resolved so I can retest it and update the review.

There is no mention of an IP code in the instructions.
Old thread bump!

Did they ever send you a new product with their fix? Been looking at this setup heavily and think I am going to this route. How has it held up over the last year?

They did not send me a new product with a fix, but I didn't ask them for one either.

I didn't actually use it - I did a lot of bench testing and did enough of an install in the Jeep to verify operation and other than the illumination issue (which some may argue is a cosmetic issue rather than a functional one) it worked fine and seemed very capable. Once I finished testing I put it back in the box and put the box on a shelf in the workshop because I don't have enough electrical devices in any of my Jeeps that need switching to make good use of it. Some of the products that companies send me to test and review I do put into use but many of them I don't find a use for myself so I save them for possible future use :).
