Some cool pics & bumper looks cool painted!

Thanks man :), that bumper is pretty heavy, I'm gonna have to crank my torsion bars some more to even it out again. I saw in your sig that you have the OME torsion bars, are they thicker than stock do you know? I know our years are different, but I was just curious, thanks.

Yes the OME torsion bars are a lot more stout than the stock bars. You can see the difference in the pic:

My Monty finally has a new set of shoes :wings: I don't have any action shots, heck I've had these for 2 weeks, but i've been so busy preparing for my final next week, that I haven't even had a chance to get on the forum here, let alone post these pics.

I ended up goin with the BFG KM2 33x10.5's, and thus far I'm happy with it, can't wait to head out to a trail and see how she feels, I'm sure it'll be a slight difference from my 31'' slicks I had prior ;)

One funny thing though, was when I was calling around about these tires, I was talking to one salesman, and told him I needed 5 tires, he asked, "Are you sure, you need 5?", I said yes, so he paused and then asked, "whats the 5th one for?......A spare?", so I replied back, "no, it's for a unicycle....":D

Not really here
That rig looks like it should now! Good choice. You'll find these tires to be wonderful on rocks (wet or dry). I'm sure you'll be happy with them.

Thanks guys. I'm hoping that in the next few weeks, once finals are done, I'll be able to get out and have some fun and get those action shots, if only we'd get some rain, then I could go out, and really enjoy myself ;)

Nice. Yes some salesmen are STUPID...
On second thought he was probably just going with the flow. There are so many vehicle posers these days that getting 4 tires w/out another for the spare is probably more common than would make sense.

At least he didn't insist that it wouldn't fit.:smilies27

I'm really digging what you did with the bedliner on the bodykit. Man, I need to get me some tires, like STAT.

Thanks man! I've actually had some friends ask me if I bought a new truck:smiley_drive: And everyone has said that it looks way better now than it did when it was two-tone. The new tires are awesome (on the road) so far, I can't wait to get them out on a trail, and actually see what this bad boy can do, now that it'll have some teeth on the trail. I have my final next week, and then I have 2.5 months off (aside from some online classes, I'm a glutton for punishment, what can I say) and I'll be painting the rest of the truck during that time off. I'm gonna sand it all down, and paint it flat black (aside from what I already did in bed-liner of course) along with trying to freshen the weather stripping etc..

Although the painting will be my priority(including the rims If I can get around to it), I'm hoping to do a storage system/camp kitchen/sleeping platform in the back, and I also want to make a custom platform that comes off the hitch, and is secured to the spare tire, this will be to hold a couple of jerry cans, and maybe some other gear as well. We'll see how things go, it would be nice to get it all done.

I have a few photos from a recent outing, we went up to the top of a the tallest local mountain, called Saddleback mountain to view the recent eclipse, I was up with my wife and son, so I couldnt get into anything to crazy, and we were in a rush to get to the top, so couldn't stop anywhere for any fun, but while we were at the top watching, I moved my truck, and found a nice sized rock to test my tires out on. Needless to say, I never wouldve been able to do this before with my "slicks"

I probably could've gone up higher, but as it was, I was having a hard time getting in to the truck, lol
