Rigs a Client is Building in Town

I put together a brochure for the units, which contains more photos and some specs. I'll post the brochure here from the office on Monday.

That thing is crazy!!

Love the Portal axles and the step stirrups. What do they do if they get a flat? :jump:

As promised, here's some additional photos and specs on the beast:

Hey, that's me. Our company website is currently under construction so here is the skinny. We rent low impact vehicles to the energy industry. The modded subs pictured start as a HD 3/4 ton Suburban which we fit 2.5 ton axles under and 50x28 floatation radials. We only end up 20" higher than a stock sub and you can now get work crews into sensitive areas and the worst roads imagineable are now easily navigated. Some of the roads in the oil industry are severe to the point that crew trucks get in dragged behind a Caterpillar which is destructive, expensive, and slow never mind the damage to the private roads which these operations are carried out on. We also have have trucks on F-350 crew cab platforms and scratch build articulating 6x6 bed trucks. Our trucks and equipment are used by drilling contractors, exploration companies, pipeline companies, environmental companies, etc.

Hey Iggy, thanks for the compliment. It was a pleasure doing work for you as well.

I've been lurking here for quite some time. I'm building a F-450 crew cab based rig with Cummins power. This is one of the best sites I found so far. The kids are finally getting old enough for some outdoor adventure. It's good to "see" a familiar face on the board.
