I've been battling overheating. I've been hitting 105 C often. I started with a new rad cap and thermostat but didn't do anything. Then, I installed a new light blue wheel-modded clutch fan from Redline Cruisers, That kinda helped. Next up is a new CSF radiator and hoses.

I got the ClarkFab air box in, and it's awesome. ALL the turbo noises now. I can tell the restriction is less and less with all these upgrades. Next up is a proper exhaust. I currently don't have a turbo back, more like a downpipe back.
Another upgrade that went on the list is the Wholesale Auto torque converter and valve body. I didn't even know these upgrades would help with power output. And I am seeing excellent reviews on those two.
It feels good to have the cruiser back!

Does your cup block your mirror view?

Headed to Overland Expo West. The cruiser will be in the Expion360 booth if anyone wants to come check it out. Gotta represent the 80s in the sea of whatever the latest gen of Tacoma is.

Thank goodness there was another "vintage" Cruiser at OvEx PVW '24; mine didn't feel so lonely.

Looking extra burly sans-roof rack!

Nah, you just scoot it back on both sides, and it's not in the way.
