Rock Slider Gap from Pinch Weld

Doing up my own rock sliders on a 3500 Express, and trying to figure what everyone is running for a gap with regards to their sliders and their pinch welds? Just trying to avoid any rubbing from any frame flex. Not going to be running this bad boy over any super serious terrain, but just trying to get a feel. What I have found on other forums is in the neighborhood of 1/4" to 1/2", but those are on lighter vehicles. Any info or recommendations from other Express or E-series owners is greatly appreciated.

I would give it min 1/2 depending on how many places you plan on mounting it to the frame?

Thanks! This was exactly what I was looking for. Mounting it to four points, and it will be on a RB Express.
