Rely on the pucker factor. I've had mine at a pretty serious side tilt and nose down and nose up on different trips last summer. When it is getting to the point that feels like it's too much I stop. Most of the time I'm out with others and somebody is spotting me through the rough stuff. What felt off to me from the inside was not looking so bad from the outside. I thought for sure I was going over and was told I wasn't even hanging a tire in the air yet. I made a new approach to the same obstacle and it felt a hell of a lot safer with less side tilt. This was in my K5 with FWC camper, 4" of lift and 35" tires so it's not exactly low to the ground.
I've added a lev-o-gauge to my dash for two reasons. It helps me level the truck side to side so my bed is level in the camper. But it also helps me have a visual of how much I'm actually tilted sideways when wheeling. I've seen 15 degrees with the camper. I thought it was pretty steep at that angle, but each time I did it, I still had not lifted a tire.
