Ronny Dahl's Trips

I'm a huge fan of his videos. Besides the fact that he seems fairly down-to-earth and straight-forward, his trips, and the rigs he reviews, are amazing to watch. I also really like the Aussie 4x4 culture a lot more than the American one. Their emphasis seems to be a lot more on reliable, long range performance rather than the "big tire, big lift" mentality that you see with a lot of American truck owners.

Wow!

He just uploaded a sweet vid of the 2017 79 Series....

I'm so going to Australia some day! Bucket List item has been added!

I watched that yesterday, so nice.
I would buy one if they offered them here.

You can tell he was excited too about the hood, or bonnet as they call them there.
Looks like he will see if he can put one of them onto his rig.

Lol... He cracks me up! I dig that dude.

I'd like to know the solid engineering design behind the narrowed rear track though. As in why Toyota does that?

And he mentioned wheel spacers are illegal in AU? Interesting they are illegal there and for whatever reason we can't get a diesel option in our Land Cruisers
here due to the Feds. Does it have something to do with how far out Western AU is from a safety perspective?

This is what makes me giddy, then I cry! :REExeSquatsHL1:

Agreed....he seems like a pretty normal guy. His videos are aren't overproduced/overdone (filled with slow pans, slow motion shots, and drama.) I'm finding some of the recent Overlanding videos so over the top with sponsors - they have lost appeal/adventure for me.

Outback 4x4 Weekender, part 2

The campsite they wake up in on day three is very nice!
Fantastic drone footage too, I really dig his videos.
