roof rack dimensions/weight?

does anyone have any info on the dimensions and weight of a safari rack for a series 1 disco? i need to look at shipping one. any help would be greatley appreciated!!!

Even on a pallet they can get mangled. When I had mine shipped I went and picked it up from UPS freight and the fork lift driver scraped the side of it up against one of the yellow posts leaving a long yellow scratch along the side. I was able to remove it with some paint, oil and grease remover. That was all the damage mine received. It didn't take the powdercoating off luckily. I was pissed.

So how much did it weigh? I've always wondered what mine weighs but don't want to take it off to get an exact measurement.

well

it was estimated at around 70lbs before packaging and the shipping carrier didn't fuss, so that must be fairly accurate.
