Roof Racks for full size vehicles

Hey guys, I've got a 05 Suburban 1500 Z71. Looking for a roof rack for a decent price. I checked out defender-they seemed to be a little pricy by the time you ordered the rack, brackets, etc. I've been lookin at Baja Rack (MegaMule) which seems to be good so far. Mainly want it because I don't like my spare (315x75x16) and my high lift jack sitting in the back of my rig. Any ideas would be great! Thanks

the rake i have on my burb cost around $70 for parts and just made it myself.

Most racks are pretty expensive. Take a look at Thule or Yakima (same thing) for their mounts. There's a lot of those parts on craigslist which helps bring the cost down some.

I have a Defender rack. The crossbars aren't very strong, and their customer service is terrible. They'll take your money even if they don't have the rack in stock.

u-joints right dont waste your time. had to do a credit card dispute over one paid and 6 weeks later still no rack. just make one its a good learning project.
