Rooftop Tent

I am selling an immaculate Howling Moon Tourer rooftop tent.
It has been used once. I bought it for $2500. We just had a baby and have to be ground campers again for a while.
This tent is the premium in rooftop tents. It has the delux extension so you can climb up and down without getting wet. This tent is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Totally waterproof. Mount it to your roof or truck bed like I did and it is ready for any expedition.
I am in San Diego and would prefer a pick up, but will ship freight if needed.
The picture is the stock photo. The tent does not come with the drop skirt.
I am looking for $1000 firm without shipping. You will not be dissapointed.

Im very interested if we can work out shipping. What size is it? Seems to be several sizes that are the "tourer".

Tourer Size

This is the tourer 1.4m
It fits perfectly on the back of a Midsize Pickup, or on the roof of any Mid-Large SUV. I have a 2007 Tacoma double cab and rigged it so it fitted just above the bed but below the roof line for reduced wind resistance.
Thanks for all the mails everyone. It is hard to see it go, but will be glad that someone gets to use it properly.

Pictures after the fabrication

I added some pics from when I bought it home after fabricating some racks for the back. We only did one trip in it to a local camp ground but at least we got to use it once. The roof was used for Kayaks and bikes so I had to mount it above the bed.

Full Size truck

It will work in any truck. You have to fabricate your own rails or put it on the roof of your truck.

Will this tent mount to Yakima bars? Can you give me some measurements to see if it'll mount on the FJ60? I'm in Santa Monica.

Load Bars

It is 59in x 51.18in
I used Thule bars when it was on my roof, and I am assuming they are bascially the same.
Email me on Zimbo76@aol.com if you would like it. I have a lot of interest but it would require me shipping it, and I would prefer not to deal with shipping the tent.

Just asking here, as I don't have kids, but why can't a baby sleep in a RTT? Especially as yours is only bed height off the ground, it seems like it would be easy to set the baby in there.

baby in the tent?

It is a bit higher than bed height. It sits above my truck bed.
It is not big enough to have us all in there. It would be fine if our little guy didn't worm his way around the place when he sleeps. We tried it on the first and only trip and after 4 hours of feet and fists in the face he ended up on the back seat of the truck.

I am bowing out for the above mentioned reason. My wife pointed out that trying to sleep with our daughter in a small space is like trying to sleep during a boxing match. I am sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, Tues. was my birthday and my wife whisked me out of town for a couple of days. Thanks for the consideration. :D

What is the mounting system like? I know this tent is similar in design to the Eezi-Awn, ARB Simpson II and Hannibal, but I don't know how similar the mounting is. I'm in San Diego and would like to take a look at it.
