Rotopax

Just installed my new rotopax today that I got from sierra expeditions. I know its not rocket science but heres what I did. The included mount holes in the bracket didn't quite line up with the bars on my ARB roof rack. I cut some wider plates out of a sheet of left over steel from a previous project. A little primer and paint along with some rubber carpet pads and the rest was easy

Initially, I'm very happy with the kit. I'll test them with fuel/water tomorrow on my way to work. Thanks for looking

Any tips on favorable supplier pricing?

Thanks all. I drove to work today with no leaks. I'm already thinking of getting another set.

It looked so good I had to come over myself and check out Ryguy's install and the Rotopax. I like them I think they are a lot better built than the Expedition one flay gas cans.

Can you give the dimension of two stacked? With and without the mount. Planning on running two per side of my m416 but I am not sure if they will mount right.

Thanx in advance.

Very clean! I've seen smaller versions used on dual sport bikes as well. I will be using them rather than the jerry versions. :sombrero:

You know, now that I have my spare mounted on my 4x4Labs bumper, I can use the space under the truck to store some Rotopax fuel cans. Hmm...maybe fabricate a piece to fit through the center opening and attach to the spare tire winching mechanism.
