That gold D1 has been around for years... Therefore I cannot understand why, at an event like this, he needs limb risers, 4 (maybe 5) 5-gallon Jerry Cans, sand ladders, and a 1650 series Pelican Case strapped to the roof. Probably driving with an 1/8 of a tank of fuel so he can be even more top heavy.

He doesn't need that stuff for an event like this, but he wheels it on a weekly basis. So no real point in moving things around, on/off all the time. That truck is like an extension of his body. One of the best drivers using their trucks for what they were meant for. Most people would puss out and never experience what their trucks can do, but Jarek knows how to handle it! :)

Yeah, who are these people that have time to constantly remove/install roof-racks, jerry-can holders, and the myriad other kid one generally needs for even a weekend of travel?

Am I a poser for leaving my Warn bolted to the bumper even if I don't use it for weeks at a time? :sombrero:

And those hideous Jeep fender flares!!!

Nope. No lockers on it. Are you missing your truck yet??!

I do miss my truck. I won't be without a Defender for too long. I'm actively searching for a 83/84 110 or maybe another 90. So keep me posted if you see any nice deals out there.

I am not disputing whether or not he can drive... Like I said, he's been around for years that I know of. He should know how to drive/handle that truck.

I guess I'm just the odd man out because I do pack/load or unload my truck depending on the trip or event I'm taking. About the only thing that is ever a constant are tools.
