Beware of lies by RTIC Coolers regarding ship dates.

I placed my Reservation on July 6th and was told a late August 2015 ship date.
I paid for my order on August 19 and was told 60-90 days to ship.

I checked back on shipping in early October and was told my cooler would ship November 14th.
I checked on shipping on October 29th and my ship date was moved back to December 4th.

I checked yesterday, November 17th and my ship date is now moved back to January 1st.

I keep getting excuses for why the shipping dates have changed. Keep in mind that they have had my money since August 19th. How many others are like me? I would not mind waiting if they didn't charge me until the cooler ships but it seems to me that this may end of being a scam. Trying to ship a few coolers out while getting more and more peoples money.

PLEASE SPREAD THIS MESSAGE AROUND REGARDING RTIC COOLERS AND SHIP DATE LIES!

I have to say had the same exact experience with this company. I hope they are doing all they can to get coolers to people that are waiting.

My ship date was 11/15. I checked again and it got bumped back to 12/5 and I asked for my refund which I got very promptly. I still want to buy one but would rather wait until there is stock of them.

Also what is up with people saying they have received them in this thread and not being able to snap a 5 second picture for proof?

Pretty sure that you can walk in to many a store and walk out with an actual Yeti for a few more bucks. Cheap is expensive.

With the ranges in ship dates that you have been getting, it would appear that they are a couple of containers behind.... Their factory must have a back log. Pretty tricky game being played it seems. It would have made more sense to me to have product on the ground before every taking an order....they would still have a backlog, but it would'nt be 2-4 months behind.

Maybe they're taking orders to fill a container? A 20 ft container will probably hold 200-300 coolers. I noticed lead times really jumping, last week ETA was early Feb, now it's April. Ocean freight takes a bit of time, too, 40 days or so from China to the East coast.

Not all of us live on the internet.

Some times inexpensive is a good deal. I have the same quality for half the price. The wait time did not bother me in the least.

It sounds like the demand out stripped the supply. As far as having the product on the ground that takes capital, not everyone has a few hundred thousand dollars laying around.

I got mine a few weeks ago after ordering in the summer time. The company was straight forward and never lied. Just by chance my local ISP tech was at the house working on an issue and saw my RTIC, we had a semi-long conversation on the products merits. Personally, I would have zero problems ordering another one. Now if I needed it for next weekend that would be a different story.

Don't know the company and do not care to just stating my facts. My thoughts, listed previously in this thread, have not changed.

It looks like Jet.com has their twenty percent new customer discount offer going again. Under this deal, I picked up a tan 45 qt Pelican for $169.05 delivered earlier this month. That's actually a bit less than a Rtic of the same size. The reviews for this site are mixed but my cooler arrived three days after it was ordered and I have no complaints.

No. It's not. Really. With the Yeti you get built in the USA awesomeness without all the annoying Chinese knockoffedness. That, and RTIC probably won't make it through 2016 as a company so instead of a cheap cooler, you'll have an expensive stool.

Don't really know how to respond to that. I can tell you, from experience, there is nothing annoying about getting a product of equal quality for half the price. I do wonder how (in your mind) a company going out of business would magically degrade a top-notch product that is now in my possession into a stool. For that matter, I believe this thread has shown that demand is very high for the offered product usually a sign that a company will not be going out of business.

Have you ever thought about seeking some anger management therapy? Maybe if you won't seek profession help you can wrap yourself in a 'merican flag and jog around your neighborhood. It may help to lighten your mood and help with your misplaced anger.

My order was bumped from shipping 12/23 to 2/6... Refund is being processed. This isn't a good way to build a new brand.
