If you re-read my post you will see that I said " I hope these coolers make it to America". I have no delusions these are not coming from our commie friends in China.

I'm thinking they are trying to stuff as many on a cargo-boat as they can and will distribute them once they reach the "Fufillment Center" in Houston.

Like you, I pulled the trigger tonight and will await the next update from the RTIC folks.

Good idea using your AMEX as a safety-net.

Just wondering if anyone who has pre ordered has anymore info on when they might ship. I went to pre order and they says 60-90 days.

Mine isn't shipping till 11/15 which is annoying. I reserved mine in July and ordered it in August. Tempted to just cancel the order.

I am not positive, but I think this lawsuit may be related to the RTIC website, and not the coolers themselves. The RTIC website is very similar to the Yeti website. There is no way of knowing what kind of effect this will have on the delivery of the coolers. Like others have stated, the use of a credit card should be enough protection against losing your money, for those wanting to order one.

Spoke to Live Chat and mine will not ship till 12/08/15
