RTT or CyberTent type on a CyberTruck?

Im curious for those who’ve used a RTT on the CyberTruck what range difference you’ve gotten?I’m planning a trip in a few months. It’ll be the first with the CT, so I’m wanting to make sure I don’t screw myself on range. I’m thinking some sort of tent in the bed so the drag won’t be much. But that limits my options obviously.

I've been experimenting with both RTT and CyberTent-style setups on my Cybertruck, and range loss is definitely a factor. With an RTT, I saw a 10–15% reduction in range, mostly due to the added drag—even with a more aerodynamic model. The CyberTent-style setup in the bed was much more efficient, maybe a 2–5% drop depending on terrain and load, since it's still within the profile of the truck.
If range is your top priority on your first major trip, I'd opt for an in-bed setup. It does reduce space and flexibility, but there are some great modular systems out there that maximize storage and functionality. I found some great storage solutions at BTR Outfitters that work really well with bed-style tents and enable you to remain organized without unnecessary bulk.

Just be sure to test your full setup locally before heading out—it’s surprising how much the weight and drag change the efficiency. Safe travels!
