Rubber boot installation? What to glue it together with.

I replaced the rubber accordion boot between the cab and the box last week. Fitting it was fairly easy but I haven't yet actually glued the overlap together yet. Looking to the forum for some collective wisdom on what product would be most suitable.

And just for information the best place I found to purchase the boot rubber was www.fixmyambulance.com .

I used polyurethane caulk. Lots of it. So far so good.

I use 3M black "Weather Strip Adhesive". I also use that for my tough corners that like to pop off during body flexing. works great for me. highdesertranger

if you're making a butt joint, maybe consider slipping a piece of something semi-rigid into the weatherstripping to act as a floating tenon and reduce the flex on the joint.
