Lurking in the shadows
So I work at West Coast Differentials. Last Friday we decided to show some folks the Rubicon trail. I left my house at 3:45am and met my good buddy Brady in Eldorado Hills and we headed to the Loon Lake trailhead to meet the rest of the group. I was in my red 88 4Runner and we had 3 other "company" vehicles. A straight axled 99 4Runner, our marketing reps TJ Rubicon with JK axles, and the owner of WCD in his 2013 JK Rubicon. I had the cheapest rig on the smallest tires and had almost zero issues.
We had a broken axle in the JK Rubicon and I broke a shock mount.
Enjoy the pictures and if anyone's ever in the area and want a guided tour let us know. It's a long day for sure. I'd recommend making a weekend out of it at the very least.
