Well, i have been lurking for awhile, and decided to make a build thread of sorts. I have been in to building trucks since i was a little kid. My first truck was a 1981 Toyota Trekker, that needed a new motor. IF you know what a trekker is you know they are cool!
From there it went to a 1984 Toyota Extra-cab with a 3.8ltr Buick GN motor. That truck was a blast! I jumped around alot from there. Had a couple wranglers, XJ's, and fords of all types, Bmws, Mercedes, and about 7 Nissan Maximas! I love cars/trucks and i can't leave anything simple and basic.
Starting about 6 years ago i decided to but together a fabrication shop. I started buying tools, and one thing led to the next.
I started building Long-Travel off-road trucks, exo cages for crawlers, and all sorts of bumpers, sliders and just about anything i could get my hands on.
Recently i got married and tapered off the full kill Builds and try to keep it to my personal builds and anything that doesn't involve tearing whole trucks apart... I have a good friend on here who shares my shop with me on occasion, who is building a Mercury Mountaineer (mounty71). So his truck see alot of shop time.
Although I am traditionally more into full off-road pre-runner style builds, and hard core crawlers, i have also taking a liking to just a good ole adventure truck, with a splash of speed built into it.
I will start from scratch on the builds and try not to get to confusing.
One thing you will notice though, is if its Toyota, it gets SCS wheels. Vin is local and i love working with him and supporting his products! Plus they look amazing!
Build 1: Trixxie the Trekker, this is my personal rock crawler, that started as a barn yard find. IT was growing quite the garden when i got it.
she is a 1981 Toyota Trekker 1 of 1500 made. She started as a simple junk yard build and was supposed to stay that way...but i don't actually have the ability to do that i guess. She gets alot of love.

Build 2: 2005 Toyota Tundra dbl-cab
This truck started as my wife's truck, and after we got married i decided to take it over. she got her white jeep xj she always wanted.
It started super stock. And has had a few different sets of SCS wheels on it and sets of shocks and suspension.
Parts list:
Front Icon 2.5 coilovers with TC uppers.
Rear Deavers with Icon 2.5 clicker shocks.
Custom front bumper, made by me.
custom bed rack for Howling Moon RTT
and Stealth 6's with 285 series tires.
The plans for the Tundra are to make it have some more rock protection, build a better RTT rack, since the last one was built in a hurry. Id like to copy Addison's rack a bit on his Tundra. and get the wiring situated in the truck, so i have more lights and so forth.
