CRD is keeping me in the WK....even though I am fighting the urge to buy a JK....a 2 door Rubicon is a nice ride, especially with the manual transmission..

I have a YJ in the garage. I just spent the summer pretty much rebuilding it. I really missed my XK though especially on weekend wheeling trips. I went on a trip in August that finally pushed me over the edge and got me off my but to finally find the new XK. I really don't try hardcore rock crawling anymore. This build really will be my adventure vehicle.

Thanks! Ya their so different you kinda have to like one over the other. I really like the boxy style of the XK but man I've seen some modified WK that made me drool :drool: and hearing that CRD cut loose looking for traction on the trails is pretty cool to :smiley_drive:

Sal do you know if Chrysler campaign N23 has been done....if so beware it may cause 4LO not to work.

Not sure if it was done. I did cycle the 4LO and it was working and no check engine light came on. I probably should cycle it a few more times to make sure. Thanks for the heads up!

Yep cross your fingers and hope the reflash works....many of us on Jeep Forum have not had it done because of 4LO issues.

If it is not working properly you will get a service 4 wheel drive message...

Here is the correct reflash procedure...if the dealer does the reflash they MUST follow the procedure word for word.

First modification on the new XK is done. I had a new leather interior installed from Katzkin. I got the color I really wanted and it turned out great.

Its mahogany but the saddle brown color was what I was looking for.

This is what I did for about two days trying to decide on a color. I put those swatches everywhere in different light trying to get it right.

I had a local shop do the install. They did a great job. It's not hard to do but its a giant PITA. I have about 76K miles on the Jeep.
