Hello everyone, some of you may know me from different forums. But I would like to share with you our trip that we did here in Saudi last year.
All the routes have been plotted for future access. However, the I6 is not suitable for overland travel. yes it's an excellent motor and all but the fuel consumption is the ultimate draw back. I have been in a few areas where I was low on fuel. (that's the reserve fuel). luckily we didn't have any big issues.
anyways, here are some pics for you to enjoy.

45 miles offroad, 80mi remaining. We are getting a little more technical.
That day didn't end very well. We got locked down by the border patrol. they asked us to turn around and head back. it seems that 30km away from the Saudi/Jordan boarder is not far enough. so we had to take another route that we had as back up (it's always good to have a backup plan for remote travel like this). It got late at night and me leading the team and navigating, there was no way for me to take pictures. we showed up in Haqel sometime around 8PM. refueled the rigs and brought our water and food storage back to level. Here are some shots from the city in the early morning. you will notice that we are doing a quick repair on the tire of the JK. nothing bad just a quick patch to fix the air leak.

Here is a Greek Sunk ship from 50+ years ago. that's literally sitting on the West coast of Saudi.
Driving from there, we reach our next stop. Ta'yb essm. Mountains and sea. doesn't get any better.

Not really used to finding palm trees in mountains, why not.
our fleet still holding strong
On the drive back we had to stop and observe the view.
