Scepter water can pump?

Thread revival!

Any way to hook up a 12v pump from Scepter 5 gallon can to a simple single handle faucet?

I want to be able to swap 1 can for a back-up so I don't want to drill into the can itself. Ideally!

Thanks all.

Here is a list of parts and a how-to. But think first, ie: remove the lid before cutting and making a mess so the can stays clean, or better yet get a spare lid, and make sure you get food grade tubing. Otherwise it is pretty simple.

I have one of these and it works pretty slick. No modification needed to the can or pump. Plus its under $13 delivered. The photos on Amazon show it on a Carboy, but the ID of the pump fitting fits snug-enough slid on the threaded nipple of the Scepter. I probably would not drive with the pump attached, but with the water can stationary, it would be unlikely to fall off.

Guess he should have marketed better.
