Anybody else here ride a Triumph Scrambler?

I've had mine almost 3 years now and I love it! Awesome bike, great build quality, a hoot to ride.

Now I've even started thinking about maybe riding it up to Alaska. Since I doubt I'd get the build done this year, I'd be looking at 2013 at the earliest.

So one thing I've found is that it's not easy finding "adventure" riding stuff, particularly hard sided cases, for the Scrambler. There's a place in England called Metal Mule that has a great setup for the Scrambler that retails for ~1300 GBP - I haven't converted it but seems to me that's nearly $2k US, not counting shipping. :Wow1:

Anybody know of any other sources? Most of the ADV-type places in the US don't sell stuff for Triumphs, or if they do it's only for the Tiger series.

I'm thinking about getting a motorcycle that can be ridden two-up and the scrambler appeals greatly so I'm watching intently. Good luck!

Off Topic: Not that it helps anyone but I recently discovered that Metal Mule is about a mile and a half by road from where I grew up and where my parents still live. About half that as the crow flies. Next time I'm in the area I'll drop in and discover whether the two 90 degree bends past the farm next door to them are still slippery as, well, :cow:

check out Pelican cases they are tough, waterproof, lighter, not as sharp but more $ than ammo cases.Until the past few years I just used large soft throw over bags.

I used Hepco Becker mounts and bags on my Bonny. The rack will work with metal or plastic bags.
