Screwing around with a Eurovan!

New seat height was fully tested today. MUCH better. Even facing backwards, it puts your feet closer to the dropped floor.

Everyone seems to be okay with the height.

I'm digging this van too!

I'm torn between this and my Sprinter.

i have read the sprinter thread, and i am SURE that will be awesome too, but this is everything i want it to be and more (and a sprinter would be to big for my needs). The only thing i would want to add to this would be some sort of a interior cage so i could string up a hammock to sleep in. that would be awesome!

at this point i will stop cluttering up your thread, and continue to lust after your van(s), your skills, and your vision.

I've actually been working on an outrigger design to do an outside hammock that is totally supported by the van!

I could always take this van off your hands then you wouldn't have to be torn. Love reading about your projects

This van is cool. The Vdub is just a neat piece. Must admit I thought you would be off and running with your new sprinter. I've only driven a couple of sprinters, but I can't get used to the "fish bowl" feel and riding on top of the axle. My old Ford just seems to be a better fit for me.

Glad your still showing the bus some love!

Sitting in the VW right now posting this. Drove the Sprinter yesterday.

They are so different that its hard to compare them. Wife has an interview up in Boulder today so I'm driving her up there so we can do dinner afterwards. The Eurovan is going to be far easier to park in Boulder! Not only is street parking tight but there is a parking garage near the diner spot. Just having that as an option makes all the difference.

I feel your pain though you have a much nicer sampling of vehicles than me. I have 4 cars (well 5 technically, though one is perpetually in storage until a later stage in life). I desperately want to sell one, would love to sell 2, but every time I think I know which one gets chopped I find a reason to use it for it's "niche" and I realize just how perfect it is for that purpose...then it's back to the drawing board. I drive most of them interchangeably on a daily basis...that part is fun.
