um...duh..forget it, i dont have time for you

Have time for what?

OH......are you trying to say from your
let me know when you need the seats done
statement that you are an upholsterer? Because you didn't make that clear in the slightest. You didn't provide any information about who you are, what you do, how you could help, where you are, or when it could be done. Nothing at all.

Honestly, I'm just going out on a limb here and ASSuming that's what you meant because you still haven't stated what you meant, or what it is you "don't have time for".

Honestly, with this lack of attention to detail and lack of care and time for a potential customer, you seem like the last place on earth I would want to do business with. (assuming that is what you meant by those posts in the first place).:coffeedrink:

hmm, we are local to each other, we are on 3 of the same forums at least (expo, thesamba, advrider), we have actually talked quite a bit through them (both in disagreement discussions and civil discussions), have even PM'd if i remember correctly. im not sure im the one who doesnt pay attention to details or who is around me (and im a detail freak actually)

maybe ill come up to you on saturday at cars and coffee telling you to keep your dogs in control in a partial joking manner (i am there every month since the very beginning years ago--and have seen altercations started before by said dogs on at least 3 occasions)

anyway--no pissing match required, i am more than willing to help a brother out, but busy enough i can turn away the ones that will be headache causing.

easy enough to find a wrecked weekender to pull a seat out of anyway--the cheapest route

I guess punctuation and capitalization aren't details that matter :sombrero:

Just picking on ya! If you're going to make statement about being a "detail freak" then you should probably pay attention to the details.:coffeedrink: (again, a playful ribbing.)

I've searched "coguzzi" on both TheSamba and Advrider and it doesn't come up. So you can't expect someone to know who you are if you're posting under different names, don't have a name or other identifying information in your signature , no picture or avatar to identify yourself.

You said.....

let me know when you need seats done

I replied with the obvious joke about the timing! To which you seemed to take some sort of crazy offense to, I'm sorry the humor missed you, and to be fair, you still haven't stated how you can help. I'm still left guessing/assuming that you do upholstery work. Is it your business? Side work? Hobby? Or maybe you were just offering to help take them out of the car and drink a few beers?

???

My dogs have NEVER EVER EVER been in a single "altercation" EVER! So you are obviously mistaking me for someone else.

I've looked for a matching one since I started this build. I have a reoccurring search set up on ebay, all of craigslist, TheSamba, the LKQ yards and have searched Car-part.com and the others periodically. There has been exactly ZERO for sale in that time frame for sane money and only ONE "PARTIAL" seat for crazy money. I image I've been looking harder than you, but if you think its easy post them up!

You must have a strange definition of an altercation or misjudged what you think you saw. My dogs get dog park time daily and are extremely social and have spent a ton of time in training. (The puppy is still learning) funny how people can judge when they don't own a breed. Aussies are insanely playful and sometime vocal about it. The hybrid doesn't have a nasty bone in his body. Biggest wimp on earth. (You do realize the Aussie isn't the same Aussie?)

I've now skimmed every one of your posts on here, adv and Samba, and my PMs. We share nearly zero topics in common. (Other than massive for sale threads, etc.) a brief set of passing comments but that is about it. No idea why you would think I know who you are on those forums or what you do? Especially when you don't have identifying info in your signatures, etc. Guess I just haven't followed your threads. (Not that I wouldn't, just saw them for the first time today)

Nothing wrong with that. Just haven't spent any time taking yet.

Must be spring time and everyone is working on their cars. :sombrero: I've had a bunch of recent questions about how the cam adjusters come out of the VR6. Mainly because when you take the screws out they don't just fall out like you might expect. You guys remember right? That issue that was really the problem that was causing my timing issues and not the chain and guides.

Anyway. I shot a super quick video on how they come out since it is a popular question. Maybe this will help others.

Lots of German in and out of the garage there, Cole!

I've got a soft spot for German cars.

I actually love any cool car, but the reality is that my wife has a preference for the German stuff so it's easier to sneak more inside the garage.

I am in awe of your selections. I have had saab, audi, jeep, and BMW. I would love a vanagon, next, but it looks like a van from the big 3 is more in my price range. Looks like I will have to live vicariously through your van :)
