Sheetmetal Break

Help, I saw someone post a homemade sheetmetal break and now I cannot find it. I need to bend 14g sheetmetal and prefer to make my own. Can someone post that link again?? I have searched and reread for days now.

I gather that you didn't know about that forum then?

Another to make y'all crazy:

Actually, I did know about garage journal. Did a lot of research there before doing my epoxy floor. Unfortunately, it's as some of them say... there's nothing you can put on a floor of a real "working" shop that will hold up.

Anyway, I just got a TV mounted on the wall now. :wings:

Dont forget to come back... There is a lot to see over there.

I would never forget to comeback... This is the best forum for M416's I have found!

Thanks for all the posts guys. I can make my break for under $150! Which sounds like a lot but the metal is sold in sticks of 20' so I can make at least TWO and sell one!!!!

If I work it right I could spend an entire weekend building them, YEA! The offroadfabnet thread talks about a reenforcement of the top clamp, (more than just the bar they used). I think I'll plan on that. I think a gusset running the lenght of the top for sure but I'm also thinking of a way to close the angle iron by welding a bar to create an enclosed triangle shape top clamp?
