^^^ Yeah, my original plan was to continue the bed-liner all the way down the camper. The cost was going to nearly double as the amount of masking and prep was going to double. The camper was also not a impact zone for flying debris. I have given thought to paint or vinyl wrap when I can afford it. Thank you btw.

I might take the Bilstein shocks off your hands when you swap them out depending on what kind of Bilstein they are.

id kill for this truck. very nice. i recommend an Exhaust system! 4" straight pipe will do a lot more than you can imagine on that truck of course be carefull as it will give you the mod bug..once you begin the performance mods you dont want to stop.:) did it to my dad 05 DMAX and its really nice even on long drives inside there is minimal drone.

So did you paint this or vinyl wrap it? I thought I saw your rig, or one just like yours, heading west on I70 towards the Eisenhower tunnel in Colorado earlier today, but this one had a blue scheme paint job on the back half.

I love this build, and your pics are absolutely amazing! This is an amazing expo vehicle!:victory:

Thank you. I really love to take pictures.

I am currently getting serious about ditching the dual rear wheels and rear fender flares. I have been driving in more snow and off road. The duals do not fare well on tight rutted roads, and kinda suck in the snow. I am looking at 17 or 18" wheels. I have plans to have a set of King Suspension shocks built. I am trying to figure out what size tire I want to fit. Taller, wider, BIGGER? If I go much larger, I will need a lift. If I go up, I'm definitely taking the bulky gear off the roof.

Look at possible tire choices before you buy wheels. I have a hard time finding 18" e-rated tires with an aggressive tread pattern. I have an even harder time when they are all on back order from several manufacturers. I think you may have better luck with 17"

I also suggest if you can change to singles with your current rim/tire size to see if you like it. Then upgrade from there: rim/tire size and/or lift. You may save a lot of money if you don't like having rear singles and this will make it very easy to stay with the duals. The duals provide a lot of stability while traveling at hwy speeds and also on off-camber trails. Just a thought.....

Free Advice is Worth ...

about what you paid for it, especially from someone who does not own a Tiger.

I went to 11.00x15 and 12.00x15 on 1970's gasoline Blazers with 3.07 gears. Was definitely worth it for rough roads, but also a definite step back for gear ratio/drivability. Things should be better with a diesel and multi-speed auto, but you might keep some money back for a final drive ratio shift. (And speedometer adjustment, etc.)

All the best!

I've been waiting for someone to put bigger tires on a Tiger. Can't wait to see what this looks like and what's involved to make them fit.

Do you think a smalll lift is all you will need or do you think you will also need to cut the rear fender opening a little bigger?

Consider going with 19.5" wheels and tires. I did this for my Chevrolet 2500HD truck & camper. My tires are 14 ply and there's quite a few options out there at this size. It's a standard commercial size tire. I've done business with Rickson Tire and Wheels in Maryland on 2 separate occasions and they are great people, ship anywhere. I can't say enough good stuff about them. And they're good people to go to for advice. They've seen a lot. They are highly rated by RV'ers at RV.net. I attached their link for you if you're interested.

I am getting 10.5mpg. I have a heavy foot, and the motor is still breaking in. I hope that removing the cargo on the roof might help some, we shall see. I know my mudders don't help me either.

In regards to Rickson's super singles. I have looked at them, but decided to avoid them, as they do not have proper bead locks, and airing down is not really an option. Running 19.5 tires in the sand and and loose conditions is not ideal.
