that's a very neat subject. one suggestion though:

if i were to take this shot i'd do a vertical shot and get more of the tree in it. if it's still available to shoot, go out and get some more shots! we get snow maybe once every ten years, so this as a subject always intrigues me.

Love the colors... really blue sky, and then the neat contrast of the white snow/ice against it.

I agree with the post above regarding the composition... doesn't give me a sense of anything (depth, tall?, wide? not really sure).
