My 93 Cummins.... 246k Miles.....Started to breathe in new life in the last year....

Want one of these, but extended or crew cab. Or go even older to an old Power Wagon.

My 87 V30, a few months older than me hahaha. Over the last 2 years it's received a complete rebuild with a Isuzu 4BD2T engine swap, nv4500, np203/205 doubler. Lowered from a 6" lift with 35" tires down to a 3"ish lift and 37" tires. Wheelbase shortened 18", bed cut down to 6'. About 2 months from being up and driving again.

How do I keep it running? I uncover it once a year and go fishing!

Budget "Adult" Rig

Got this for $1700, and freshened it up with new plugs, wires, distributor. Then replaced the radiator, belts/hoses and water pump.

Also added
2" lift,
new 31x10.50 Grabber A/T
custom built a bumper, added a winch
removed plastic cladding, replaced with bed armor
12" LED light bar (not in picture)

I use it as for long distance road trips, some semi-serious off roading, and it a partial DD as well. It runs like a dream.

Found some pics of my old b2. 85 originally 2.8L a4ld. Swapped the Trans to a m5od, then threw in a 97 explorer 5.0 and m5od-r2 from a f150. Explorer rear leaves with aal, double cardon rear shaft, 4" SJ front coils, d35, 8.8, Aussie locker, flat skid, and a bunch more. I wish my old IMG host wouldn't have taken a dump and lost all my pics of it.


When it was stockish. BTW paint job is 8 coats of rustoleum gloss white rolled with a foam roller, and duplicolor bed liner on the roof

Wow, some great looking rigs here. I've got two AMC Eagle wagons. An '86 and an '87.

The 86 has the 4.2L with a Comp Cams camshaft and Jeep 4.0L head, AW4 Jeep transmission ,Jeep NP242, Jeep Chrysler 8.25" rear. I built front and rear bumpers for it, also.








The 87 has a Chevy 5.3L, 4L60E transmission, Jeep NP231 transfer case, Dana 44 front axle, Ford 8.8 rear axle and 35" tires.

It is fun it drive for sure. I put it up for sale as it is more of a project than I have time for, but unless I get what I want for it I'll just keep chipping away at it. The rust is all repairable, I'm just short of time these days.

Awesome rigs in here folks. Truly. Love those Eagles....that awesome little Mitsubishi. And how do you go wrong with a 4BT Repower?
