How well does your truck drive on the street after you took off your swaybars?

its slightly notecable, but after the second day of driving it with no bars it felt normal.... there is a touch of sway but i dont go round corners at 80mph lol. honestly i dont know why aside from towing very heavy stuff they bothered putting sways on the truck. If i were anyone else, take them off drive around get a feel for it for about a week, then make your decision to keep them on or not. I also run 12.5" wide super swamper ssr's on stock rims so width helps keep sway down. And it doesnt easily sway either it takes a bit of effor to get it to do anything. On the trail i flex very nicely and the ride is smoother compared to wheeling with them on.

hope this helps.

Heck yeah that helps, Thanks. Im gunna take mine off next week. I`m running 17x9 wheels, 35x12.5 tires, plus my truck is alittle lighter than yours (standard cab) which should help with less swaying.

Here are some flex pics of a couple of my old rigs. I figure there isn't much point in showing the flex on my current rig (nearly stock Xterra).

Ok, time to show what my old girl can do:victory:

Custom front suspension with 3leaf parabolic rear springs, longer shackles, 14" bilsteins, 180mm slipjoint high angle u-joint propshaft.
Rear suspension is still standard as I'm too lazy at the moment to do anything about it (oh, and next week I'm going to Australia for nearly 5months :wings:). But rear flex will get better with longer shackles and the same 14" bilsteins.

It ramps a calculated 967 RTI.

Well thank you:sombrero:

It will be even better after I've done the rear as well... Funny thing is, it's not even too bad on the road. It only suffers from a bit of bodyroll... Oh, and thanks to supsension geometry it rolls out of the corner (front axle understeers, rear axle oversteers, so it's '4 wheel drifting' itself out of the corner..... that sucks).

Thats some nice flex for a big old wagon.
