I am installing a kenwood HAM radio in my 2nd Gen montero. Can't decide where to mount it . Hoping to see some ideas from ya'll.

No picture but I opened up the stereo slot in my tuffy box and installed the C.B. there.
I put an external speaker up on the headliner, so I could bump my head on it every time I reach into the back for something.
I can close the cover over the radio and lock it up with the box. I have a 12V socket next to the radio that also gets covered when closed.
Another socket is in the dash on the passenger side, along with a Hella map light
