Show me your hot/cold water system!

Kurt,

On the Helton Shower system that you run, I noticed you pull the water with a pump. Could you gravity feed the exchanger from a water container from the roof rack. I.e. the front runner 40L water tank? Or do you need the self priming pump to feed the exchanger the right amount of pressure?

I've not heard or seen anyone doing that and the Helton isn't sensitive to pressure so much as a standard volume, assuming you could kept it fed with a decent volume you should be set.

yep shipping to canada. i may just get it shipped to washington. drive across n grab it.

Good call... I have used the Letter Carrier with great success, they are in Pt Roberts. There is also a few in Blaine as well. I think I may order this kit soon...need to get my tank/hw setup done soon!!

the water tank would have to be a ways in the air to get any usable pressure

Heh, a pub, good call. Yeah the Letter Carrier is cheap too. Had my rear swing out tire carrier delivered there...like $40.00 shipping in the US, and like $500 to Canada. They charged me $4 to hold the package and all I paid at the border was the taxes. Cheap!!

signed up for letter carrier!! Their rates are much lower than the overnight trip shipping to the pub costs me hahah

Glad it worked out. For me it was a no brainer. I live on the island, and Pt Roberts is like a 10 min drive from Tswassen Ferry Terminal. Their rates are silly cheap! When I was there, Tire Rack must have delivered 25 sets of tires there all at once! I may go this route next time too.
