Cheap short term champer shell. Sucks no one ever has the right color....

Your grill looks awesome. I really like the color match with the blacked out Toyota emblem. Did you do that or did it come that way?

My truck is a Off Road so the grill was chrome. I ordered some color match paint off ebay and painted the grill. I was going to make the emblem black but I found some gray paint I had from a previous wheel painting mod and used that instead. For a garage paint job it looks pretty good.

Looks terrific. What lift did you go with?

Thank you! Ive got OME 885 springs up front and 895 springs in the back with bilstein shocks all around and a 1" body lift to help clear the 33's. I've got a build thread in the build section as well.

Peace.....
I,ll jump on this post. I am loving my lil 4runner. I recently did a coast to coast trip from the bay area CA to RTP NC. I hit most of the national and state parks on the way,my biggest regret was due to time I missed Yellowstone, and some of the fav spots of UTAH....but next yr.

Currently my tardis/ship/ the little rhino or as I like to call her sometimes, the mobile operations command vehicle/mobops......is geared with the following for a 2week trip.

1-ram horns or scratch guard in the front
2-under carriage armor or skid plate
3-KC 100's - learned the advantage of these very quick driving down mountains at night
4-Voyager top storage also called my upper deck storage or my rhino's backpack
5-extra bonus previous owner gave her the two tone paint , so in some light shes dark hunter green, in bright light she is USAF or Tardis blue
6-added a few stickers to personalize her
7- there are many places to improve......but thought i would share

Backpack contains:

-Air Pump
-roadside emergency-oil, coolant, cables, tools, etc
-human emergency kit ( 4 people)
-small wood/charcoal grill
-20lb bag of charcoal
-10lb of wood
-mil spec 3 in 1 sleeping bag (2)
-large alice pack
-med alice pack
-hammock
-dry bag of extra clothes
-rei inflatable/blow up air matress for sleeping bags
-tow rope
150 ft of climbing rope/emergency only
100ft of parachord
2 tarps
1 quick tent (sleeps 3)
2 fleece tops
4 skull hats
2 pair leather gloves

4runner inside storage
-5 MRE's
-8 cans of food
-case of clif bars
10 gal of water
2 headlights
-extra flashlights
usual navigation stuff (maps, compass, binoculrs, etc)
bear spray - oh yeah

finally a back seat cooler for easy to reach drinks when in Death Valley
always keep iced, 4 cans of coco nut water, 5 bottles of water

and under my seat- a fire extinguisher

hope this wasnt too detailed, but i have to say, not only did i use everything always (except roadside emergency) but i had the best time of my life.
humping a pack in the mil was good for my body , but humping a pack on my own on trails in the middle of nowhere are good for my soul.

** special note , I like to use the moonroof/sunroof as a hatch, its perfect for me to take pics, as well as my night in yosemite, i was able to chill and watch bears walk around the parking lot at 2am from the safety of the rhino... :D
