Peace.....
I,ll jump on this post. I am loving my lil 4runner. I recently did a coast to coast trip from the bay area CA to RTP NC. I hit most of the national and state parks on the way,my biggest regret was due to time I missed Yellowstone, and some of the fav spots of UTAH....but next yr.
Currently my tardis/ship/ the little rhino or as I like to call her sometimes, the mobile operations command vehicle/mobops......is geared with the following for a 2week trip.
1-ram horns or scratch guard in the front
2-under carriage armor or skid plate
3-KC 100's - learned the advantage of these very quick driving down mountains at night
4-Voyager top storage also called my upper deck storage or my rhino's backpack
5-extra bonus previous owner gave her the two tone paint , so in some light shes dark hunter green, in bright light she is USAF or Tardis blue
6-added a few stickers to personalize her
7- there are many places to improve......but thought i would share

humping a pack in the mil was good for my body , but humping a pack on my own on trails in the middle of nowhere are good for my soul.
** special note , I like to use the moonroof/sunroof as a hatch, its perfect for me to take pics, as well as my night in yosemite, i was able to chill and watch bears walk around the parking lot at 2am from the safety of the rhino...
