Nice truck! Is that a Ruger 10/22 or Mini 14? I have a 10/22 with the folding stock and a red dot scope, it's a fun little gun.

That one is just a little 10/22, outfitted it with the side folder set-up and scope as soon as I got it...such a fun little gun!:ar15:

There's a bed tent that goes over it for the rainy or buggy nights...

Welcome!

:safari-rig: I was hoping you would find you way over here! Glad you made it,
(We wheel together at the TTORA Crown King run a couple of weeks ago.)

Hey Rex. Thanks for the welcome. You and I share the dubious honor of being the only two guys on that CK run to need the help of a winch when we stuck our tacos (mine was sitting on both frame rails in those large boulders). Haha. We also tried our luck on the tougher optional flexy spots that a lot of guys with similar rigs drove around. So I guess we took some extra chances that day.

I added a set of rear coil springs and axle relocation plates on mine for another 2 3/8-inches of lift in the rear and some extra expedition gear load carrying capacity since that run. Very happy with that mod. Check it out...

Still need to get into a set of 255 85's though, once these 265 75's wear out. Also took the wife out for a week of wheeling and camping in southern AZ last week, which was a ton-of-fun!

Yeah, I am learning a lot over at TTORA, and have met some great people. After lurking here at the portal for a while I realized that the way I build and use my rig for extended road trips cross-country into Mexico and all (with wheeling and lots of overnight camping) was a little more like you guys over here at the portal. Rock crawling with TTORA is tons of fun and I'll keep at it, but I am glad to have found this group with more of an expedition flair!

Cheers!

This was taken last month right after I got the SS #1 kit on with new 285's. Its too late in the season here to build my sleeping platform so I will have to wait until spring to finish...

New To Expo!

Hello Expo, another new guy here. What an awesome site!
There's obvious time, thought and $$$ spent on some great looking rigs. Some would say it's an addiction I guess? Nice job to all! Looking forward to picking some of your brains.
Here's a couple pics for you all. The black '00 Tundra is our old expo rig w/over 178,000 miles. The silver rig is our new '08 Tacoma.

Another Maggiolina owner, nice setup.
I noticed you have had both the AirLand style and also the Columbus model.
