Seth, what is that rear tasklight? Is it a Snowpeak Hozuki lantern?

NICE 2nd Gen!!...I assume by the xtra cab, and the camper on the back, that you got the 3-point-slow V6?

Thanks man! yes the 3.slow is chugging along at 265k on original factory build. Im actually exploring the idea of a new crate or swap all together but haven't decided what Im going to do yet

Actually I take that back the previous owner did have the head gaskets replaced along with water pump t belt pwr steering pump clutch and a few other things so I guess its not the "original" factory build. I think I paid 3k cash for the truck about 6 yrs ago ish?

Because I cant seem to leave anything alone and on a super tight budget the interior is a hodge podge of misc "stuff I had in the garage" repurposed bits from other projects, junk yard parts and cheap ebay bits. I have 4 cameras and two dual input 4 inch monitors that will allow me to see the front area below the bumper, rear, and down both sides, CB/PA, weather radio, bearcat scanner, and at one time I was experimenting with a carputer which is where the 7inch touch screen monitor came from. Also I am completely addicted to lighting so theres a dozen of them hidden all over the place! 2011-09-10 14.38.50.jpg 2012-01-15 16.57.15.jpg

Did you lower the head board? How did you find all that room up there?

Super nice rig ermb! Actually I removed the visors and used the mounting holes to build an overhead console/shelf deal that runs the width of the cab and comes back about 7inches from the windshield. great place to mount things only hassle is running all the wiring down the A pillar

It's a great use of space and provides lots of new areas for switches and your monitors, etc. I think it's awesome but does it interfere at all with head room?
Holy smokes! That a sweet rig ya got there! X2 on that bumper as well?

Actually Ive never had a problem with headroom or visibility and to make matters worse I replaced my original bench with Honda Civic buckets which are much taller. The shelf hangs down about 3.5 inches and I still built a make shift visor under that. Forgive the terrible cell phone pix and still not sure why pictures show up as links... : /

Hey guys. It's been a while, we've been quite busy with life, aka kids (5, 3, 1 year olds), although I have been a lurker... We're planning a 3 week road trip in June, so I'll be tinkering with the rig for that, mostly preventative maint stuff.

ermb - bumpers are 4x4 Labs rear, Shrockworks front.
