I will be spending a lot more time in grizzly country for the next couple of years. For her peace of mind I may have to sell it and find a hard-shelled trailer to replace it. It will be a real loss because this little gem has been so good to us.

I've lived my whole life in Grizzly country. You'll be fine. Plus you'll be able to go to a lot more cool places with that small light trailer anyways.

Yes, you are correct. But SWMBO is afraid of her own shadow, and I truly enjoy having her with me. So you know how this story will end. Having said that, I am having trouble finding something that works as well as my little trailer. And it is paid for!

true. But I wouldn't get rid of it. I attribute that to lack of experience and familiarity of the area. I think after she gets used to it around here it won't be a problem. You've got a great system already and invested in it so why change for something like that?

I'll chime in. I'm running 275/70-18's on my 2012 Tacoma. I'm pretty pleased with them. I put them through the paces in Florida muck. clay, and sand mixture this weekend and didn't have any issues. Even managed to unstick a 1st Gen Taco on Swamper LTBs.
