Let my Taco stretch it's legs a little bit yesterday in the Ozark NF. SxS's were thick as flies, but everybody was behaving.

This is my 06 Doublecab Prerunner. I'm not a big rock crawler, look for the insurmountable route kind of guy so all I have is the LSD 2wd. I need this truck to get me to work during the week so I mostly stick to forest service roads and some simple desert trails.
Its got 335K miles. Starting at the front I have the Avid light bar with 4 pod lights and Avid step rails. Engine was recently rebuilt about 20k miles ago. Its stock under the hood. 3 inch Daystar leveling kit, upgraded Bilstein shocks, LED rooftop mounted light bar, OTTRA light switches in a Meso Customs light switch panel mounted in the overhead light panel. Victory 4x4 bed rack, Tepui Ayers RTT, Body Armor 4x4 rear bumper with swing out tire carrier. BFG KO2 ATs all around. Driveline is stock. Stock Toyota wheels.
I've been to Texas, New Mexico, Utah, and Calif. from my home outside Phoenix AZ.
I'm mostly out camping looking for reptiles and amphibians to photograph and collect science data.

Just got back from a couple of days in Toyota Country. OK it was the Ozark NF, surprisingly amazing camping weather for May around here.

Sequoia met an untimely death...so I replaced it with a Tacoma! '08 DCSB, TRD Offroad, 6MT. Picked it up from the original owner with ~92k on it and a file full of maintenance records.
