I was out of a Toyota for about a year and a half while I tried to make a JKUR work for me. Liked the Jeep but it wasn’t a Toyota. Last fall I traded it in on another Tacoma. Momma is loving the heated seats and dual climate control.

Built a new pop-up camper and took it all for a shakedown run through the Tillamook National Forest in Oregon

Here is my rigs. 2016 Toyota Tacoma OR4x4 and my recent purchase 1987 Toyota 4runner SR5 4WD. Plan on rebuilding the engine and trans and restoring the body in some detail but overall keeping it factory with some modern tech.

After flipping the brackets around, they lined up perfectly with my OEM spoiler holes. Since my OEM spoiler was falling off thanks to previous owner(s), I figured I'd replace it with something better.

Some more expensive chase bars have amber turn signals - the turn signal wiring for mine uses the red tail/brake lights, which I didn't really want so I didn't wire them. It's also always running tail/running lights if it has power, which I didn't expect - I didn't want to bother running diodes in-line to make sure I had running lights on with headlights, brake lights on with or without headlights, etc. so I just leave my headlights on all the time so it doesn't look weird having chase bar running lights without taillights on. Probably safer anyway!
