For 30 pages now I was afraid of entering this thread. I figured thumper pic's would not be allowed due to the kids and negative impact that would have with google searches. I guess I need to get my mind out of the gutter.

Some of you have some big thumpers. Some look sexy but most don't.

I'm ever trying to streamline my setup, did the Ridaho Grit 3 in Aug and have transitioned to a lightweight backpacking setup, 5 days, camped 2 of them, down into the low 20's one night. Ended up 5 days @ 750 miles of some of the more difficult singletrack in central/southern ID, got up to 10k feet, longest day was around 150 miles @ 13-14 hrs ride time.
