Single battery in a Eagle ?

Hi folks, just purchased a 05' Eagle, came w/one new west marine AGM79 battery [it's heavy]. Planning on solar this summer [i'm thinking 200w panel], my question is , will one battery be sufficient for the basic lighting requirements and occasional oem heater?

Thanks for input

I have an Eagle on order and will have only 1 battery. It will power LED lights, ARB fridge and charge phone, will power this no problem. I may add a 160 watt solar panel for peace of mind when parked for 3 or 4 days. Ron

I have an Eagle with 100w solar and dual batteries. If you have the built in compressor fridge I'd say you need two, otherwise one should do. I also use power for my laptop which is another reason for more battery power. Solar is good, but you need somewhere to store the energy.

Thanks for the input, cchoc, 100w solar would be fine for my application ? I do have the stock oem fridge, I don't know anything about it ,I imagine it's a compressor fridge?
NikonRon, thanks for the reply, I will be changing out to led's as well including cargo lights, anytime I can save power i will. I picked up my 4WC around Thanksgiving and have yet to pop the or even a shake down cruise, high temps around here [Colo.] mid -hi 20's , not real excited to raise the top may not get it down and" tucked in", Just chatting on this and WTW site gets me excited for spring though.
I might consider putting another battery on board, not sure if I want to cough up the cash for an AGM, at least from West Marine[pretty pricey]

I wish I had more than 100w on top, but I do also have a 60w foldable - so I'd go with your initial plans for 200w. Yor fridge might also be a 3-way which doesn't use as much power. When I had my Engle fridge it would run all week in the desert with just the 60w panel, but the compressor fridge/freezer in my FWC is a lot more power hungry.

It is a three way, can't remember the brand, it's warming a bit , I'll go see the brand and whatnot .
I have two Interstate 6vdc and a 200w panel on a hard side I've had for years , if I'm in good morning light I can be topped off by 9a.m. generally speaking.

On another note, perhaps I should take the whole solar system off my hardside and lower my asking price, probably save several hundred,
glad we had this talk...lol
