Skinny Guy campers.

I was able to spend a few nights in one of these Skinny Guy Campers last summer at a show. It was rainy and 40 and stayed plenty toasty inside.

They fit a lot of cool stuff into a small package, well thought out. Water and cabin heater, kitchen, fridge, portapotty/ or flush toilet, Table. Fresh Tank, De mountable. Does not go all the way to the bed of the truck, so you can fit a decked system under it.

I can see the draw, I have a fullsize and outfitter. However If I did not, one of these on my ZR2 would be awesome. They did a great job with the design.

Have you guys seen these things around? They are prety new, I believe last year was their first year at the shows.

I would love to hear any long term updates on this, I am considering it right along with Alu-cab and ursa minor J30 systems (and AT overland and four wheel camper) for a Gladiator

I dont own it, My brothers shop in Reno has them. Its a cool product, and the owners are doing cool stuff. Really nothing else like it. Stove, sink, cabin and water heater, etc.

The Alu-Cab and Ursa Minor requires you to build the bed out.

The Skinny guy has everything built in, and can be removed if you want to use the bed for normal truck things. I dont know if FWC offers anything for the Gladiator?
At makes a cool, product. Same thing where its built into the bed. So its techincally removable it takes some doing.

Edit* Best advice I can give, is to check everything out in person. And do lots of research. Figure out what your plans are for it, does it need to be removable, etc.

Saw one of these at a local show. It’s a great use of space, ability to use and retain the truck bed, has lots of features and sleek design. Personally it wasn’t my thing. I did not like the way you enter the camper. Essentially you have to go up a set of janky accordion style steps that is bed height. I’m pretty athletic and able bodied and it was not very reassuring getting in and out of the camper even with the support bar. Imagine having to get up this thing in a lifted truck on bigger tires which the demo truck was a Ram HD with lift and larger tires.

Now imagine having to get up in this thing when the steps are icy or wet. I think the name is very fitting for the demographic of this camper. You better be skinny, fit, and athletic to get into it. If you’re overweight, older, clumsy, or have some form of disability this is not the camper for you. I would encourage anyone (along with their partner) interested in this camper to try it and see it before you buy it.

I agree, try it.

I did not use the accordian steps, but would not like them.

The floor/dealer model I was in, just had a RTT type folding ladder. That worked well.
