Sleep solo in my JKU next to ARB fridge? Or buy a nice tent?

Check out this tent. I put my cot inside and can almost standup. This tent sets up quick and will take any weather.

Us old guys have a hard time crawling in the doors of our JKs especially if they are lifted. Its also easier to pee at night if you are in a tent.

Check out Travel John for pee holders.

Most of all do what you enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

I sleep in the back of a different 4x4 and find it very comfy.
I have bits of black out material for the windows and attach them with magnets (easily removable with no trace, unlike Velcro). I started out with a cheapo inflatable mattress which worked, but have since moved from that to using a foam mattress which is much more comfortable and less thick so I get more headroom.

just sleep in the back, especially if you have an air mattress, super comfortable, dry, and most importantly off the ground.

I tried laying in the back. Heck no! Especially with with the fridge. I can't lay down stretched out. The REI base 6 tent showed up yesterday!

Called it! why be uncomfortable when you can setup a tent that takes next to no space in the rig, and be super comfortable. sleeping in the back is for when you have NO OTHER choice.

Howdy from Sweden. I am 176cm and I think I have at least 10cm over, so Iam 5 feet 919⁄64 inches according to internet so it could not be to short for you. Have You taken the front seats as forward as they can go?

To make it flat I use clothes or blanket to fil the trench, or you can buy a dedicated trench cover for wrangler. To make it flat again ha ha :) I use a dobble folded madrass from the feet to about the hip (the red one in the movie) and a grey madrass over the hole length and that makes it flat.

I guess I am claustrophobic because that looks terrible to sleep in! Not so bad with the full double mattress, but blocked in by all the crap. Nah....I will setup my tent, with screen room etc and have a great evening.
