I don't think the 500MA rate will do much, to keep a battery charged while a fridge is running. If you bought several then it would work.

Probably not. You need to factor in several things when considering solar.

1) What is the ambient temp likely to be? This will affect fridge performance. Getting a transit bag (if you have the ARB/Engel) may help with this.

2) Factor in that you'll probably only have 8-10 hours of sunlight, but you'll be running the fridge 24 hours.

3) Probably somewhere between 40-60 watts of output would be best. Keep in mind too that the watt ratings are max output and assume that the panels are optimally deployed to gather as much light as possible. This will require adjusting throughout the day if you want max output all day long.
 
It might be a good battery topper, but I think a fridge draws 1-1.5 amps IIRC.
Depending on how often the fridge cycles, it would probably draw down the battery faster than it can charge.
