Smallest Hard Shell Roof Tent?

There were some nice small Hardtop tents made by Zifer that you may find on the used market. They made a small Maggiolina "Adventure" that was designed for expedition use and very cold weather. If you are over 6'1" it is too short for you and the top barely goes high enough to sit up. The idea is to keep the volume down so it is better for latent heat as you can always open it up. Can't imagine a tent being smaller and still being practical.

This was a concept we worked on over 20 years ago, the Jeep was set up with 35" tires and had a little diesel engine. Set up to travel the world. The ladder was interesting on these early tents, they were welded up using square tubing and the two pieces would slide in "u" channels. The idea was that you would step on the bottom rung and the two sharp legs would sink into the soil and the top portion was suspended by hooks from the rack. Worked well, light and strong and could be divided and used as sand ladders when needed.
