Smittybilt Scout Trailer Reviews?

When you say hubs, what do you mean? The brake drum or the thing with the lugs (studs) on it?

For bearings and the cup these are the ones:

Timken Set 12 (LM12749 cone and LM12710 cup) = Outer Bearings
Timken Set 13 (L68149 cone and L68110 cup) = Inner Bearings
National 473317 Oil Seal
Thanks. Wrong thing. Drums. Not Hubs. THANKYOU

This weekend I made some brackets to hang my four floods, two on each side, on separate switched circuits.

I also picked up a Basecamp stove and made up a base for it. Works great!

Hey, did you weld those brackets or bend metal? Asking because I am now the proud owner of this great trailer and all the amazing work you did and I want to make some more. Loving this thing btw.

I was at the SoCal overland expo and thought the boys would like to see the ol scout in action. They said they would love to see it. Then two days of zilch, I was a sad panda lol.

I would have loved to have had them get me the right part numbers for the big slides in the back. Sigh I can tell the lock mechanism

Just wanted to jump on and say thank you to everyone who contributed to this amazing thread. It has helped tremendously.

I also wanted to should out SmittyBuilt for their incredible customer service. I reached out to them after purchasing our 2017 Scout trailer which has been owned previously by two members of this thread. Smitty didn't hesitate to immediately send me out the frame braces at no cost to make sure I didn't' end up like some of the other owners with a failure in the field. Don't know of too many other companies that would be so gracious to the 3rd owner of an 8 year old product. I've got some brand new equipment that I've had much more trouble with from a brand perspective.

I also wanted to shout out Dirtworx for still offering up his great swing out and working with me to make it just what I need. Still a great community around these great little trailers. I'll post some photos in the next few weeks as we get it fully built out and ready to roll. Cheers.

EMT there is a post on page 189 of this thread that has part numbers. I was looking for the same slides awhile back.
