Snorkel for gen 2

Looking into buying a snorkel for my 96 SR. I've seen safari snorkel, airtec and el cheapo Chinese version. I would like a review of all 3 because I have no clue what the difference between the 3 is other than maybe plastic quality. I'm kind of leaning towards The Chinese one because you know, poor high school student. Any comment helps!

Here's the one I'm running. The install kit kicked ***. Adapter worked out perfect and super easy install. Quality seems to be pretty good. I've only had it for 3 months and haven't put it through the water test nor the abuse test.

Apperently the install for the fiberglass snorkels that seller roxypow is selling requires you to make shift an adapter from the air box to the snorkel, which some people have resorted to dryer vent. This is a bad idea.

I have el cheapo and it had been working just fine.

Fitting is terrible, missing screws and no instruction. Paid 130 ish for it and basically, you get what you paid for.

I'm probably going to end up going with the one PA_JERO linked to. That seems like the best bet for cheapo. I don't plan on driving in deep water but I definitely would enjoy the greater airflow.

I've a cheapo one too, and it has withstood awful abuse over the last few years, dragged it through high banks, used it as a limb riser and it has survived the ultimate test, yummy mummy's hitting their doors of it in the supermarket carpark

It will also save you a little bit on the cost of air filters if you roll that way. Pulls in less dirt when out on the trail. I change my air filter out every oil change anyway though. So it's not saving me anything.
